Ronan Lennon

Ronan has been a functional fitness coach for 25 years (and in the Bay Area for over 19 years). In that time, he has learned that there are many factors which can affect our health, power, wellness and performance.

Ronan works with a diverse range of clients one on one, and designs custom programs that suit your unique goals to make a real difference in overall wellbeing.

For optimal wellness, Ronan also works with clients to address nutrition and lifestyle factors that may be inhibiting health and performance. After assessing your biochemical needs (and looking into food, hydration, sleep, stress and movement habits and how they affect your goals), he creates a plan that brings back vitality and energy to your life.

“I’m here to be a partner for your health and wellness. I truly enjoy solving problems and helping my clients overcome obstacles in the body or mind. “I have been playing golf for over 24 years and I can honestly say Jennifer is the most passionate and knowledgeable trainer I have worked with. She has helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses and given me a complete program to help me improve. As a result my golf is better and most importantly, pain-free.”

— Richard

“After a thorough evaluation, Ronan was able to identify the root cause of pain I had been experiencing in my ankle and shoulder and prescribe corrective exercises to help. After working with him for just under a year, my posture has improved, my body fat has decreased, I feel confident and strong and I can finally say I’m no longer injured!”

— Lynn

“We couldn't recommend working with Ronan more highly. His training delivers many more benefits than exercises as he really teaches how to improve body awareness and competence for more balanced living.”

— Andrew

“I’ve worked with the Leap Fitness Team for a couple of years now. My journey has been from frustration to empowerment.

I lacked clarity on what was the right exercise program for me. I was following YouTube exercises and not getting the results and sometimes getting injured.

At Leap Fitness they did a very detailed assessment of my strength, stability, and also Lifestyle factors.

Their knowledge and attention to detail really impressed me. They designed a clear and customized plan and assigned me homework to perform. I am now in the fittest and strongest I have ever been. But most importantly I never get injured and I have much more awareness of my body.

I can’t thank Ronan and Jazmin enough for their Coaching and support.

I look forward to working with these guys for a long time.”

— Saoirse D.

“Ronan is a fantastic trainer. He really looks at the whole picture — all of the complex aspects of a person’s health: physical conditioning, nutrition, posture, stress, muscle imbalances…I have had chronic back pain for years, and Ronan has really helped me to understand and address the various issues that have been affecting my back health.”

— Sean

“After just six months I no longer feel sore after I play golf, I’ve put on a solid eight pounds of muscle and all of my allergies are GONE. Every aspect of my game, fitness and general health has improved under Jennifer’s guidance.”

— Steve

“Leap is an amazing training and wellness studio. I’ve been going there for almost three months and the results are phenomenal. I feel healthier, stronger, and most importantly experience less pain when doing the activities I love.

Ronan takes a wholesome approach and addresses not just physical fitness but also nutrition and mental well being. I train with him once a week focusing on mobility and strength with the goal of improving my physical fitness and golf game. I see Jazmin twice a week, primarily focusing on strength.

The entire team is great at creating engaging and challenging programs that improve my fitness. They deliver the training in a one-in-one environment allowing for personalization and privacy. Everyone is bought into my success which offers another level of motivation.

One of my recent breakthroughs with them was developing a stretching plan before and after golf rounds to alleviate sharp lower back pain. Last week I played 72 holes over three days and came away with zero back pain. That would’ve never been possible before Leap. The studio is clean, large, and private. I love Leap and would highly recommend them to anyone.”
